Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or using the TailRounds platform (the "Service"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and ourPrivacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you are using TailRounds on behalf of a veterinary clinic or business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and the entity.

TailRounds provides a veterinary clinic management platform including:

• Online appointment booking and clinic scheduling
• Pet health records and medical history management
• Owner-clinic communication and care timeline sharing
• Automated appointment reminders via email, SMS, and WhatsApp
• Preventive care and vaccination tracking
• Payments, invoicing, and subscription management for clinics
• A pet owner mobile app for tracking pet wellness

TailRounds is not a veterinary practice, does not provide medical advice, and does not establish a veterinarian-patient relationship. All medical decisions are made exclusively by licensed veterinary professionals.

Veterinary clinics subscribing to a paid TailRounds plan additionally agree to:

• Maintain valid veterinary licensing in all jurisdictions where they practice
• Ensure all staff who access patient records have appropriate authorization
• Not share login credentials between staff members — each user must have their own account
• Be responsible for the accuracy of all medical records entered into the platform
• Honor all appointments confirmed through the TailRounds booking system
• Comply with all applicable data protection laws regarding patient health data

As a pet owner using TailRounds, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your pets (species, breed, age, existing conditions)
• Attend booked appointments or cancel with at least 24 hours' notice
• Use the platform's communication features respectfully
• Not attempt to use TailRounds to obtain prescriptions without a valid vet consultation
• Acknowledge that health information shown in the app comes from your vet, not from TailRounds

TailRounds and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, trademarks, logos, and content created by TailRounds. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service solely as permitted by these Terms.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (pet photos, notes, etc.). By submitting content, you grant TailRounds a limited license to display and process it solely to provide the Service. We will never use your content for advertising without your explicit written consent.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TAILROUNDS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

In any event, TailRounds' total liability to you for all claims shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to TailRounds in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period for paid plans.

TailRounds may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, for material violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or conduct that harms other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we may delete your data after a 30-day grace period.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in Austin, Texas, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
